Prayer for Healing and Wholeness
Heavenly Father,
You are the God who sees me in my pain,
who walks with me through the valley,
and who binds up my broken heart.
In a world that aches, You are my refuge.
In the silence of my suffering, You whisper hope.
You are near to the crushed in spirit.
I know this.
I believe this.
And still, I cry out for You to come close again.
Lord, I need You.
I need the touch of Your healing hand.
I need the peace that surpasses understanding.
I need the courage to trust in Jesus, again, and again.
I confess, Father…
That I’ve tried to carry burdens never meant for my shoulders.
I’ve doubted Your goodness when healing didn’t come the way I hoped.
I’ve numbed my pain with distraction, rather than resting in Your presence.
Forgive me.
Heal not only my body, but my heart.
Heal the root, not just the wound.
Holy Spirit, breathe on me.
Guide me through the fog of fear.
Help me surrender, not just my sickness, but my need for control.
Let Your will be done in me, even when I don’t understand the why.
Teach me to sit with You in the mystery.
To say, “It is well,” even when the storm rages.
To believe, truly believe, that all things work together for the good of those who love You.
Jesus, my Healer and Deliverer,
Stretch out Your hand over every hurting place in me, being it physical, emotional, relational, spiritual.
Restore what is broken. Redeem what was lost. Renew what is fading.
Let Your resurrection power bring new life to my dry bones.
I lift to You my deepest wounds, the ones no one sees.
You see me.
You know me by name.
Speak, Lord, and make me whole.
I declare, You are still good.
You are still God.
You are still with me.
So I wait…
Not in fear, but in faith.
Not in despair, but in Your promise.
Not in weakness, but in Your strength made perfect in mine.
And now, I rest.
I rest in Your love.
I rest in Your timing.
I rest in Your sovereignty.
Make me whole, Lord, not just in body, but in trust.
Not just in healing, but in holiness.
Not just in relief, but in relationship with You.
I surrender. I believe. I am Yours.
In Jesus’ mighty name,
Amen.
